A successful roof is only possible when it is fitted by skilled, trained operatives. That is why Decra invests in training.

At our purpose built training centre at Decra Headquarters in Crawley we offer courses throughout the year both for newcomers to the Decra system and for those wishing to ‘refresh’ their skills. With roof assemblies just a few feet off the ground, training can be given safely at all times, whatever the weather.

Following an audit carried out by Carrillion we have implemented a structured training plan, featuring a syllabus that provides a mechanism for continuous improvement and improved quality of workmanship.

Developing Your Design
The training centre also acts as a design facility, enabling us to first engineer theoretical solutions to problems and then develop them into real world, constructional mock-ups. This gives designers far greater assurance than computer modelling ever can.
Working closely with designers and contractors, our aim is always to provide solutions that maintain the designer’s freedom and ability to be innovative, and help installers put the design into practice soundly and efficiently.

Our in-house training facility ensures a national network of registered independent roofing contractors, fully trained and periodically monitored by Decra, is available to provide the right solution for any pitched roofing or vertical tiling requirement.
