Patented design technologies deliver unrivalled performance
At the heart and soul of every Solatube by Decra Roof Systems product, you’ll discover an array of innovative technologies that out perform other “tubular skylights.”.
Technology in the dome nearly doubles the Effective Daylight Capture Surface compared to ordinary clear domes used by “tubular skylights.”
Our proprietary reflective tubing uses a revolutionary multi-layer polymer surface to reflect more light than physicists thought possible. In fact, it is the most reflective material in the world without using environmentally harmful metals

Solatube optical lenses give designers the ability to deliver daylight like never before.

Raybender® 3000 Technology Our high-tech, discreet, roof-top dome is manufactured with a unique patented Fresnel lens that redirects daylight down into the tube, light that on other systems would pass straight through and be lost. And because the light is entering at a steeper angle, it travels through the tube more efficiently resulting in more light being delivered to your room.
| LightTracker™ reflector SpectraLight® Infinity tube material Exclusive to Solatube, this revolutionary, super-reflective, mirrored tube material, with a reflective value of 99.7%, transfers more light than any other material used in other tubular daylight systems. Only a tiny 0.3% of light is absorbed each time it bounces off the tube surface. When compared to systems that use flexible ducting, a Solatube delivers on average 10 times more daylight. show me | Vusion™ diffuser This quality, double-glazed diffuser is engineered to deliver daylight evenly to the room below. The sleek and contemporary design fits neatly into any ceiling with no visible fixings. The double-glazed unit prevents solar-gain in the summer months and heat-loss in the winter and virtually all harmful UV rays are filtered out - so no faded furnishings.

LightTracker™ reflector This unique reflector greatly increases the daylight-harvesting capacity of the dome and redirects even more light into the tube aperture. The system is particularly efficient when the sun is low in the sky during early morning, late afternoon and throughout the winter months. Ensuring the system delivers a more even spread of light all through the day, rather than 'peaking' at midday as happens in other, inferior systems.
