1. Cut roofing felt min. 10mm short to allow clear ventilation through to ridge.

2. Create fixing position for Ridge/Barge Cap:
- Fix battens to top of ridge fascia sized to span from back edge of fascia to top
edge of top tiling batten. - Fix 50 x 25mm batten to top of of ridge fascia board and a 38mm x 19mm batten fixed to outer face of ridge fascia board.
- Form upstand at back edge of tile.
- Install Universal Vent strips in front of the tile upstand and also behind the front edge of the Ridge Cap
- Fold Ridge/Barge Cap to form monopitch ridge profile capping.

| 3. The Ridge/Barge caps have a slight taper in their design. Place the wider end of the ridge over the narrower end of the ridge beneath (overlap areas shown shaded grey). Each Ridge/Barge cap should be secured with 2 nails on each side of the ridge cap through the pre-drilled holes

NOTE: Decra Oberon Ridge/Barge Caps are tapered to allow for laps.
NOTE: Where roof pitches exceed 35° it may be necessary to adjust the return angle of the downturned leg of theRidge/Barge Cap and use an alternative size of ridge fixing batten.
