Decra Oberon, Vertical Tile Hanging - Abutment to a top edge

This detail applies where soffit and fascia board can be removed or are to be replaced 

1. Remove soffit (and fascia).

2. Install 50 x 25mm timber batten to face of structure, positioned so that bottom of batten aligns with bottom of soffit.

3. Nail head of top course of tiles to batten (above).

4. Fix 50 x 25mm batten to bottom of gable ladder, abutting Decra Tile, ready to take soffit.

This detail applies where retaining existing soffit and fascia in position

1. Fix 50 x 25mm batten to structure, abutting soffit.

2. Nail head of top course of tiles to batten (above).

3. Install 50 x 25mm batten to soffit, abutting tile.

4. Provide L shaped cap to this batten, cut on site from Decra Oberon Tile Top Course flashing.
